Time passes, our children grow, but our memories remain constant like flowers in the sunlight. This film is a collection of memories, all taken when life was like a new promise. Many people who have been watching our films over the last 10 years have asked what happens to the unused footage that does not get into the final cut, so this is an offering to that curiosity.

For the first time we present here many scenes that were not used, scenes that convey the fun and beauty of our early trips to the Crimea. We hope that all the joy of our early years will come alive again with this special collection of unseen memories, our very own brief history of naked time.

The whole world seems to be waking up at last to the fact that our planet is not indestructible, and that if we don’t act soon to put a halt to our indifference and recklessness, this will have devastating effects on future generations, which means our children and grandchildren. As naturists, we are perhaps even more concerned with the natural processes that dominate, and also our involvement with Nature creates our dreams for a better world.

This film is a new direction for us, with naturists of all ages asked to design their dream on a plastic screen, while the camera captures the dreams and the making of them. Comic or serious, we understand that we are part of the world, part of the universe, and part of the eternal dream of life and beauty. So here is our first effort to show that we are indeed the world, and this is our dream for a better place for all of us,
now and in the future.

Families in Kiev are always ready for a party, no matter what the core celebration, so when Halloween comes along, a brand new concept for most Eastern Europeans, the Ukrainian Naturist Organization is more than happy to celebrate in its own way this new and exciting evening fun.

Outside the weather is grey and cold already, but in one of the local saunas the atmosphere is hot and steamy, and the show can go on. Pumpkins, paintings, masks and games are the order of the day, and so we celebrate in our own fashion great family fun in this first off Halloween Party, naturist style, of course, laughing happily as we enjoy Naked Trick and Naked Treat!

Making films and photographs for a living is still perhaps one of the most interesting and sometimes glamorous jobs in today’s fast and furious image-ridden society. But when combined with the philosophy of naturism, in which nudity is an essential part, then it becomes even more interesting and filled with potential artistic opportunities, as well as being an excuse for travel to different places around the globe.

AWWC, Inc has been filming and photographing naturist families for many years now and in many different places, and their reputation needs no introduction to naturists worldwide. This latest offering brings us fantastic images of the early summer in Kiev, where local naturists herald the sun with their usual exuberance and sense of fun. So, yes, all in all, we can definitely say: It is a wonderful job – and we are very happy to be doing it still!

You are almost certainly guaranteed a white Christmas in Kiev, and 2008 was no exception as some of our hardier friends frolicked naked in the snow, while others preferred the hot atmosphere of the sauna and its many heated rooms where we could play billiards, invent our own Christmas games, have a great Christmas party picnic, and just dance and laugh and sing through this great party atmosphere, while our cameras, discreet as always, captured this unique blend of happy naturist families having happy naked fun.

There was talk of a “hippopotamus”, but luckily only Polina’s pet rabbit came along. True Christmas cheer for all of you, and a very happy naked new year to come.

We all live in a world in which counting and numbers play a large role in our lives, and in our continuing dream of a world without clothes. Our own number have been advancing since our first 49 steps. Now, we have achieved the total of 80, and this new compilation film will give you a glimpse into some of the fun and variety that has gone into making this endless quest.

With introductory sequences from 16 of our new titles plus unseen footage, deserted beaches, mountain ranges, winter saunas, rivers and forests, our film making takes us anywhere it is possible to breath freely in our naked skins. Koktebel, longtime haven for naturist families, is on the change, and as new hotels and apartment blocks are constructed along the shoreline, and as naturists cling to the last elements of freedom here, the sense of imminent loss is ever present.

But the traditional Neptune Festival goes on as always with all the customary joy and chaos and paparazzi everywhere, so AWWC cameras record once again what may well be the last ever festival in Koktebel. See once again the Gods come down from Olympia and act out the birth of Venus, ever the same but always different. As the first days of spring begin to warm our hearts, and as Eastertide also comes to pass, our naturist friends in Kiev come together at a local sauna-house down by the river to celebrate these two events with a party in their now-famous fashion of great family fun.

Organized chaos takes over then, with singing chickens, a duet between a cat and an Easter bunny, a lively picnic lunch, an original car-wash by a gang of giggling girls, and two giant walking Easter eggs that reveal a surprise as nature is reborn in a symbolic ritual, finished off with a fireworks display that sums up what was a most perfect day - naturist style.

In this modern day and age of fashion and convention, clothes are becoming seemingly evermore important to assert personality and to prove we are "somebody" to our peers. Yet, in this ceaseless race for betterment, one group of dedicated people is taking a stand against what most see as inevitable and righteous - us naturists.

Ukraine has become one of the leading nations in promoting family naturism over the past 6 years, mostly from the unrelenting efforts of one film maker and his friends, who have gone from strength to strength each year with new locations, new ideas, and new images.

Christmas time, and a lot of festive fun and games take place in front of a blazing log fire at one of Kiev ’s best saunas, when the local naturists meet to celebrate in their own way, this great holiday season.

Family fun is the theme of this gathering, and while some of the more hardy run through the snow for a quick splash in the river, others play games that include charades, body-decoration parade, billiards, a fairytale based on the three pigs and the big bad wolf. The whole festive atmosphere is enjoyed by one and all as Father Christmas arrives to distribute little presents, and the final “jingle bell rock”, complete with candles and sparklers, is a lively naturist hymn to what turned out to be a fantastic Christmas party when all our friends were truly naked in this winter wonderland.

Traditions are important to the naturist community in the Crimea, and tradition has seen a regular performance taking place each second Saturday of August, known as NEPTUNE DAY. A large group of naturists from all over the eastern part of Europe gather to celebrate in their own fashion the dramatic and comic version of the birth of Venus, among other ancient legends.

So once again this film explores all the excitement and improvised fun as the body artists get to work on dozens of bodies of all shapes and ages, and then the dramas unfold. Ukraine hit the world’s headlines recently with its “Orange Revolution,” and when that was over, it was the “Eurovision Song Contest” that got the capital, Kiev, singing and dancing for a whole week.

Shortly after, it was the celebration of World Naturist Day that saw a gathering of the Ukrainian Naturist Organization (UNO) in Kiev, down by the River Dnepr, as naturists of all ages set off on a large cruise ship to enjoy a barbecue and a lot of games on an isolated island on the outskirts of Kiev. So come aboard as we cruise upriver to celebrate the first party of the budding summer season, and watch these naturist families enjoying their newfound freedom and naked happiness as they join with one happy voice to shout aloud to the watching world...
